Registration Details

Conference time

The conference starts on Sunday (July 02, 2017) with a welcome reception starting at 4 p.m. and ends on Thursday (July 06, 2017) after lunch/about 2 p.m.

Conference Venue

The Conference will be held at the Seminaris SeeHotel Potsdam, An der Pirschheide 40, 14471 Potsdam, Germany. The next station of public transport is "Potsdam Pirschheide". This station can be reached by Tram 91 or Bus 695 from Potsdam Main Station, which is easily accessed from Berlin by S-Bahn, local, and fast trains. From "Potsdam Pirschheide", there is a 10 min walking distance to the hotel, but shuttle bus transfer is organized at Sunday afternoon and on Thursday after lunch for arrival and departure.

Abstract submission

Participants may present a poster at the IWCGT-7. Poster presentation is subject to abstract submission and acceptance by the conference chairs. A book of abstracts will be handed out at the workshop, and an electronic version will be available for download for all participants.

Preregistration & Payment

Please pre-register yourself (without any obligation) to create an account. You will then recieve a password via email to login for abstract submission and for final registration. With the final registration, you approve to attend the workshop and agree to pay the registration fee. Cancellation of registration will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50,00 EUR before June 25, 2017. No cancellation is possible after this date.

Registration fee for participants

  • 720 EUR (incl. VAT) until May 20, 2017
  • 800 EUR (incl. VAT) thereafter

This fee includes the abstract book_including the electronic version for download , admission to all sessions, free WLAN at the workshop site, coffee breaks, lunch, dinner with regular drinks, catering during the poster sessions on Monday and Wednesday, and the workshop barbecue dinner on Tuesday (July 4, 2017). Accommodation in the workshop hotel is not included. However, special reduced rates have been negotiated; please look at the "Location" page for all details on how to accommodate.

Accompanying persons

Admission to the workshop is restricted to attendants that have paid the registration fee. However, accompanying persons can be accommodated in the workshop hotel. Lunch and dinner can be taken with the workshop attendees at your own expenses, please inform the hotel e.g. through the accommodation form. The hotel also has information about guided tours to Potsdam, Berlin, and other beautiful locations. In order to register accompanying persons for the workshop dinner event at Tuesday at a fee of 60 EUR per person, please contact the organization committee.

Method of payment

Payment is only available via credit card. We support VISA and Mastercard. Please note that you will find the name “IKZ im Forschungsverbund Berlin e.V.” in your posting text of your credit card bill. If your company/institution is not able to pay via credit card, then please contact the workshop organizer at iwcgt-7@ikz-berlin.de

Visa

Participant from foreign countries may encounter that they need a Visa to travel to Germany. Please make yourself familiar with the respective regulations and start early enough applying for a Visa.

Cancellation

Cancellation of registration will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50,00 EUR before June 25, 2017. Cancellation of accompanying persons for the workshop gala dinner is free of charge before June 11, 2017. Thereafter, no refund will be possible in the case of cancellation.
